WHEREAS, the Youth Service Bureau has proved it is a viable, stable service to
the community the last four years by the services it provides young people and

WHEREAS, the Bureau continues to have requests for expansion of services
not available within the community, which necessitates the need for additional
revenues from appropriate sources to develop realistic planning to provide
adequate and accesible resources to this suburban area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Maplewood hereby encourages
the St. Paul Foundation to consider the request for funding to provide Long Range
