A meeting of the City Council was held in the City Hall Council Chambers and was called to order
at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Longrie.

Mayor Longrie moved to approve the agenda.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. South Maplewood Moratorium Presentation by Rose Lorsung, Senior Planner, Schoell
Madson, South Maplewood Study.
2. Discussion of Proposal for Finalization of the South Maplewood Land Use Study.
NEW BUSINESS
1. 2008 Comprehensive Plan Planning Process, Rose Lorsung, Senior Planner, Schoell
Madson.
a. Update of Parks, Trails and Open Space Element of Comprehensive Plan during
2007.
b. Comprehensive Plan Update on Remaining 12 Elements in 2008.

After Rose Lorsung with Schoell Madson gave her presentation the city council had a question
and answer session. The council discussed the Parks, Trails, and Open Space and questioned
whether there was a need for a task force to complete this process.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Longrie moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m.
