Background:
Perkins+Will were engaged to study development scenarios and presented their findings for these
parcels at the June 14, 2021 council manager workshop. Since that time, the County ceased
operation of the golf course and there are no active redevelopment applications.
The purpose of this agenda item is to consider options including purchase or use of these
properties. State statute allows the City Council to close a meeting to consider offers made for
property and to develop counteroffers.
