HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo 433 Amending Chapter 911 of the Municipal Code Relating to Two-Family UsesORDINANCE NO. 433 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 911 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO TWO-FAMILY USES THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MAPLEWOOD DOES HERLBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 911.010 is hereby amended by adding thereto a Subsection NO. 13. 911.101, SPECIAL USE. Special Use Permits pay the issuance for any of the followings 13. Two-family usesiin farm residence district, Section 903.010 and R-1, single family residence district, Section 904.010 including all structures and land elements that meet R-2, double dwelling district standards, may be permitted by a special use permit. Such use is not subject to review as provided in Section 911.050. All property owners within 350 feet shall be notified of the public hear- ing. It being the intent of this procedure to allow an occasional interspersing of double dwellings in R-1 and farm residence districts that are consistent with the comprehensive plan. Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. (6) Said news. paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publi- cation mentioned below.
