AN ORDINANCE A`ENDING CHAPTER
1703 OF THE MAPLEWOOD CODE
RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION CODE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1703.011 is hereby amended in its entirety to read as
follows:
"1703.011. ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 101 OF NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION
COPE. There is hereby adopted by the City of Maplewood for the purpose of pre-
scribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire
or explosion, Chapter 101 of that certain code known as the Life Safety Code, pub-
lished by the National Fire Protection Association, 1976 Edition and the whole
thereof, of which not less than three (3) copies have been received and now are
filed in the office of the Clerk of the City and the same are hereby adopted and
incorporated as if fully set out at length herein, and from the date on which
this ordinance takes effect, the provision thereof shall be controlling within
the limits of the City of Maplewood."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
passage and publication.

PREVENTION CODE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MAPLEWOOD
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
