THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLYWOOD DOFi HEREBY ORDAIN s
.lection 1. .Vection 601.010 of the +aplewood Code is hereby amended to
read as followss
11601.01.0. The model municipal civil defense ordinance yet forth ars
-ppondix No. 6 to ',!unicipal Prototype Plan of the !.:innesota 'survival Plan
prepared and published by the btate of :4lnnesota, Department of civil Defense,
three copies of which ordinance are on file in the office of the village Clerk of
Maplewood, is hereby adopted as the civil defense ordinanoe of the Village. r-rery
provision contained in such ordinance is hereby adopted and made a part of this
ordinance as fully as if set forth explicitly herein, with the following amendments
Section 3, Subdivision 1. of the said model ordinance shall read as
followas

sgency, which shall be under the supervision and control of a director of civil
defense, hereinafter ealled the director. 11% director shall oe appointed by the
Mayor for an indefinite tera and may be removed by him at any time for cause, and
the adequacy of such cacuse shall be determined by the Mayor pursuant to puolic
hearing.
