AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF HIGHWAYS AND
STREETS IN THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD INCORPORATING
THE PROVISIONS OF THE STATE HIGHWAY TRAFFIC REGULA-
TIONS ACT AND ACTS AMENDATORY THEREOF AND SUPPLE-
P+IENTARY THERETO BY REFERENCE AND D20SING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATIONS.
THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The highway traffic regulatory provisions of ;Minnesota Statutes
Chapter 169 and all acts amendatory thereof and supplementary thereof are hereby
adopted as the traffic ordinance of the Village of :Maplewood regulating the use of
highways, streets, roads and alleys and regulating the operation of vehicles within
the Village of Maplewood. The sections of Minnesota Statutes herein referred to
and all provisions supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof are hereby incorporated
into and made a part of this ordinance as completely as if said provisions were set -
out in full.
Section 2. Any violations of this ordinance shall conditute a misdemeanor and
any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
punished by fine not to exceed $100.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail not to
exceed 90 days, or both.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in addition to and supplementary to all
other ordinances of the Village of Iviaplewood pertaining to the subject of traffic
regulations.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and publication according to law.
