AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING ST. PAUL
CITY ORDINANCE. NO. 11971, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ST. PAUL CITY ORDINANCE NO. 11061.
THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF `)1APLEW00D DOES HERESY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Village of Maplewood accepts and concurs in St. Paul
City Ordinance No. 11971 which is an ordinance amending St. Paul City Ordinance
No. 11061, the original ordinance of the City of St. Paul granting permission and
authority to the Village of Maplewood to connect the public sewer system of said
Village to the public sewer system of St. Paul, said amending ordinance extending
the Maplewood sewer system within the Village to areas not heretofore included as
part of the authorized areas for connection to St. Paul sewers. The Village of
Maplewood hereby approves the said St. Paul Ordinance No. 11971.
Section 2. The Clerk of the Village of Maplewood is hereby authorized and
directed to forward to the Clerk of the City of St. Paul on or before July 20, 1961
a certified copy of this ordinance as required by the provisions of St. Paul Ordinance
No. 11971.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage and publication as provided by law.

public sewer system without further
express authorization therefor by the
Council of the City of Saint Paul,
except that said Village of Maplewood
may permit the temporary installation,
maintenance, and operation of a sewer
service connection between its said
public sewer system and the following
'described real property lying beyond
its corporate limits and situate in the
City of Saint Paul, County of Ramsey,'
State of Minnesota, to -wit:
The North 652.75 feet of the East 1,Z
of the Northeast i4 of the North-
west % of Section 23, Township
29, Range 22, except the East 410
feet thereof, Ramsey County, Min-
nesota, according to the United
States Government Survey thereof;
upon the express condition applicable
to such temporary sewer connection,
that the same shall be discontinued
and removed upon the construction by
said Village of Maplewood, evidence
by an ordinance passed by its Village
Council or governing body, and the
filing of a certified copy of the same
with the City Clerk not later than 60
days next after the official publication
of this amendatory ordinance.
SECTION 3
This ordinance is hereby declared
to be an emergency ordinance rendered
necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health, and safety.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force upon its passage, approval,
and publication.
