THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES ORDAINt Section 1. .hat Ordinance No. 37, Section 2, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2. For the purpose of this ordinance, every place used, main- tained, advertised or held out to be a place where intoxicating or non -intoxicat- ing liquor is sold for consumption on or off such premises and in addition to such sale of intoxicating or i:on-intoxioating liquor also provides dancing, singing or vaudeville performances or entertainment for its guests or provides for them the privilege of dancing, shall be deemed a tavorn. The words "nor; -intoxicating liquor" as used in this ordinance shall mean Seer, ale, porter, wine or any other liquid potable as a beverage which contains more than one-half of one percent of alcohol by volume and less than 3.2% of alcohol by weight. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. T VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3 Section 2, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2. For the purpose of this ordinance, every place used, maintain- ed, advertised or held outto be a blare where intoxicating or non -intox- icating liquor is sold for consumption on or off such premises and in addi- tion to such sale of intoxicating or non -intoxicating liquor also provides dancing, singing, or vaudeville per- formances or entertainment for its guests or provides for them the privil- ege of rivegeof dancing, shall be deemed a tav- ern. The words "non -intoxicating li- quor" as used in this ordinance shall mean beer, ale, porter, wine or any other- liquid which contains potable beverage e than one-half of one percent of alcohol by volume and less than 3.2c/ of alcohol by weight. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
