HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo 270 Adopting the Regulations of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency by ReferenceC ORDINANCE NO. 270 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE REGULATIONS OF THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY BY REFERENCE THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. This Section shall be known as Chapter 1404, Air Pollution Control Regulations. Section 2. "Section 1404.010, Adoption of Regulations of Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. 'There is hereby adopted by the Village of Maplewood for the purpose of prescribing regu- lations governingconditions hazardous to life and property the AMBIENT AIR QUALTY STANDARDS AND AIR POLLUTION CONTROL REGULA- TIONS as ppvublished by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and in eff®ct as of the date hereof of which standards and regulations not leas than three co Los have been received and are now marked as official copies and filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the Clerk of the Village, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this ordinance takes effect, the provision thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the Village of Maplewood." Section 3. "Section 1404.020. In addition to the ap- gprovel of any exception, as provided in the standards and regu- lations of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency graanted by the director of said agency, the applicant must aaso obtain approval of the Village Fire Marshal before starting any fire pursuant to such permit." ,# Section 4. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate violation." Section 5. All ordinances in conflict wih the afore- said standards and regulations are hereby repealed. Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the Ist day of November, 19709 and its passaange and publications.
