Home My WebLink AboutNo 258 Amending the Maplewood Code Relating to Payment of Sewer Rental Charges, or Delinquencies ThereofORDINANCE NO. 258 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MAPLEWOOD CODE RELATING TO PAYMENT OF SEWER RENTAL CHARGES, OR DELINQUENCIES THEREOF. THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 206.140 (B) of the Maplewood Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "206.140. RATES AND CHARGES. (B) Statements for sewer rental charges shall be prepared on a quarterly basis. Said statements shall be due and payable to the Village of Maplewood on or before the last day of the months as shown below: January, April, July and October Statements - due the last day of each month respectively. February, May, August and November Statements - due the last day of each month respectively. March, June, September and December Statements - due on the last day of each month respectively. There shall be added to all statements, not paid by the date indicated above, a delinquency charge of one dollar ($1.00) or ten per cent (10%) of the amount due, whichever is greater." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. Adopted this 5th day of February, 1970 by the Council of the Village of Maplewood.
