AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MAPLE 100D CODE
RELATING TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES-
THE
HARGES.
TSE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES REREBV ORDAI14 AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 206.140 (A) of the �aplewood Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
1206.140 RATES AND CHA-R-GE,. (A) (1) The following rates and charges are
hereby established for all sanitary sewer services furnished by and in the Village
of Maplewood:
a. Rates shown below shall apply to all properties connected to sanitary sewers
within the corporate limits of the Village other than those specified in
paragraphs b, c, and d below:
b. All Single and Two Family Residential properties within the corporate limits
of the Village shall be charged $9.00 per quarter per unit.
c. All Multiple Family Residential properties (three or more dwelling units)
within the corporate limits of the Village shall be charged $6.30 per
quarter, per welling unit.
3. All mobile Home (Trailer) connections within the corporate limits o:- the
Village shall be charged $4.50 per quarter. In the event that a mobile
home park is served by a private sewer system, the charge shall be $4.50
per quarter per unit served.
e. Sewage Use Rates for classifications other than those stated above shall be
reviewed and established by action of the Village Council.
f. The rates set forth it). a, b, c, .1 and a above shall be subject to change
by resolution of the Council of the Village of Maplewood £roars tint* to time,
and shall at all times be subject to provisions of contracts with the City
of St. Paul as evidenced by pertinent ordinances and resolutions of both
the St. Paul City Council and the Maplewood Village Council."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after

DAIN AS FOLLOWS:

and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the
English language .in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at
least 900 square inches. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week.
(3) Said newspaper has 60 percent of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the com-
munity which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made
up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said ,newspaper is circulated in and near
the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 600 copies regularly delivered to paying
subscribers, has an average of at least 75 percent of its total circulation currently paid or no more than
three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post -office. '(5) said newspaper
purports to serve the Village of North St. Paul in the County of Ramsey and it has its known office
of issue in the Village of North St. Paul in said county, established and open during its regular
businese• hours for .the gathering of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and main-
tained by the publisher of said newspaper or persons in his employ and subject to his direction and
control during all such regular business hours at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said news-
paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has
complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publi-
cation mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior
to January 1„1966, and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary
of State and signed by the publisher and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is
a legal newspaper.
