THE COUNCIL OF THS VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOLS HIMY 01RDAIN AS FOIJAWS: Section I. Section 203-010 of the Maplewood Code is hereby amended to read as foliows: 11203.010. TOM OF ()FFICZ. Pursuant to Minnescta Statutes, Section 412.022, the terms Of Office of each of the following Village cffic" shall be four (4) years: Mayor, == t and each of the four council members." Section 2. The Maplewood Code is hereby amended by Adding Section 203.011 to road as follcvws: 11203.011. VILLAGE ELECTIONS. The regular election of village offices shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of Novenfaer in each odd -numbered year. The first such election ilk. Maplewood shall be held in November, 1969. All terms of office ending in January 1970, under laws in force at the time of the adoption of this ordinance shall, if this ordinance Is approved by the voters, be filled by candidates elected at the first biennial election in November 1969. All terms of office ending in January of 1971, under laws in force at the time of adoption of this ordinance shall, if this nrdinance is approved by the voters, end in January 1.972. All persons elected to the offices enumerated ill Section 1 of this ordinance -shall. be elected for a term of four (4) years commencing with the election of XaveWWr of 1969." Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect only if it in approved by the electors at the 068 regular village electix,, at vhlcb time it shall be submitted to the electors. When so approved this ordinance shall remain in effect until further action by the Council and the electors as provided by statute. 'HE COUNCIL THE VILLAGE OF IAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY OR - )AIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 208.010 of the Ma- lewood Code is hereby amended to read a follows: "208.010. TERMS OF OFFICE. Pur. uant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 12.022, the terms of office of each of he following Village offices shall be our (4) years: Mayor, and each of the four council nembera." Section 2. The Maplewood Code is Hereby amended by adding Section ;03.011 to read as follow$: "208.011. VILLAGE ELECTIONS.
