THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS Section 1. Section 306.010 is hereby amended to read as follows; ►►306.010. WIRING - 30 AN!. SERVICE. Minimum fee for each separate inspection of an installation, addition, alteration or repair to a circuit up to 13 ampere: (inclusive)................................................... $3.00'' :vection 2. Section 306.020 is hereby amended to read as follows: ►►306.020. WIRING - 60 AMP. SERVICE AND OVER. Services, change of services, temporary services, additions, alterations, or repairs on either primary or secondary services shall be computed separ4tely. 0 to and including bt ampere capacity ...................$4.50 61 to and including 100 ampere capacity..................$6.00 101 to and including 200 ampere capacity ..................$7.50 For each additional 100 ampere capacity or fraction thereof ................................................. $3.00'' Section 3. Section 306.031 is hereby amended Le read as follows: ►'306.0317. OTHER INSTALLATIONS. A. Circuits, installations of, additions, alterations or repairs of each circuit or sub -feeder shall be computed separately including circuits fed from sub -feeders and including the equipment served, except as provided for in items B through F. 0 to and including 30 ampere capacity ...................$1.50 (maximum number of 0 to 30 ampere circuits to be ;paid on is 30 in any one cabinet) 31 to and including 60 ampere capacity ...................$3.00 61 to and including 100 ampere capacity ..................$4.00 For each additional 100 ampere capacity or fraction there of...............................................$2.00 5. Aaximum fee on a farmstead shall be $16.00 for 100 ampere capacity and $32.00 for 200 ampere 6ervice for a single location which is inspected as a single installation. C. Maximum fee on single family dwelling shall be $16.00 for 1003 ampere service and $32.00 for 200 ampere service. D. In addition to the above fees, all transfonars and generators for light, heat and poorer shall be computed separately at $2.00 per unit, plus 10C., per KVA or fraction therec-f, for all IVA rap to and including 100 KVA, 101 KVA to 200 KVA 5C per KVA. All in excess of 200 KVA shall be 100; for each 1000 KVA thereafter. The maximum fee for any transformer or generator in this category is $20.00. B. In addition to the above fees all transformers for signs and cucline lighting shall be computed at $2.00 for the first 500 VA or fraction thereof per unit, plus 20e, for each additional 100 VA or fraction thereof. Signs shall be inspected before erection plus final inspection after erection. F. In aadditfln to the above fees (except ou dwellings) remote control, signal circuits and circuits of less than 50 volts shall be computed at $2.00 per each ten openings; or devices of each system plus 500 for each additional ten or fraction thereof." ;section 4. Section 306.040 is hereby amended to read as follows: "306.040. UVIEW OF PLANS. For the review of plans and specifications of proposed installations, there shall be a minimum fee of $30.00 up to and including $30,000 of electrical estimate, plus 1/10 of 1% on any amount in excess of $30,000 to be paid by persons or firms requesting the review." Section 5. Section 306.050 is heresy amended to read as follows* "306.050.- RRINSPBCTI©N. When reinspection is necessary to determine whether ua,safe conditions have been corrected and such conditions are not the subject of an appeal pending before the Hoard or any court, a reinspection fee of not to exceed the original unit fee, or $4.50, whichever is less, may ba assessed inwriting by the inspector. For inspections not covered herein, or for requested special inspections or services, the fee shall be $7.50 per man hour, including travel time, plus 90 per anile traveled, plus the reasonable cost of equipment or material consumed. This section is also applicable to inspection of empty conduits and such other uausual jobs as determined by the Hoard." Section 6. Section 306.060 is hereby amended to read as fellows: "306.060. INSPECTION OF TXANSIM4T 'MLIJRCTS. For inspection of transient proJects including but not limited to Carnivals and Circuses the inspection fees shall be computed as follows: Power supply unit* - according to Sec -tion 306.020 of the Fee Schedule. A like fee will be required on power supply units at each engagement during the season, except that a fee of $7.50 per hour will be charged for additional time spent by the inspector, if the power supply is riot ready for inspection at the time and date specified on the request for inspection as required by Law. Rides, Devices, or Concessions: Shall be inspected at their first appearance of the season and the inspection fee shall be $3.00 per unit." Section 7. The MAplewood Code is hereby amended by adding a new Seztion 306.070 to read as follows; "30b-070. STAADAM)S AM DEFIMITIONS. TV,e interpretations of Uie ;'tate Board of Electricity of the provisions contained in the National llectri,2al Code, shall lie prima facie evidence of proper definitions of the above." Section 8. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
