AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANDS,
ACCEPTING ST. PAUL CITY ORDI-
NANCE NO. 13325, AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ST. PAUL CITY ORDI-
NANCE NO. 11061.
THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
MAPLEWOOD DOES HEREBY OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 13325
of the City of Saint Paul, amending Or-
dinance No. 11061, is hereby approved
and the terms and provisions thereof
are hereby accepted by the Council of
the Village of Maplewood for and on be-
half of the said Village of Maplewood.
Section 2. That a copy of this ordi-
nance, after publication, shall be for-
warded to the Clerk of the City of Saint
Paul.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force upon its passage
and publication.
Passed by the Council of the Village
of Maplewood this 15 day of September,
1966.

said newspaper was printed and published in the Village of North St. Paul, in the County of Ramsey.
State of Minnesota, on Wednesday of each week; that during all said time said newspaper has been print-
ed in the English language from its known office of publication within the Village from which it pur-
ports to be issued as above stated and in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent
in space to at least 450 running inches of single column, two inches wide; has been issued once
each week from a known office established in said place of publication and employing skilled workmen
and equipped with the necessary material for preparing and printing the same, and the presswork on that
part of the newspaper devoted to local news of interest to the community which it purports to serve has
been done in its known office of publication; that during all said time in its makeup not leis than twenty-
five per cent of its news columns have been devoted to local news of interest to the community it pur-
ports to serve; that during all said time it has not wholly duplicated any other publication, and has not
been entirely made up of patents, plate matter and advertisements; has been circulated in and near its
said place of publication to the extent of at least two hundred and forty (240) copies regularly delivered
to paying subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its local post office; and that a copy of each
issue has been filed with the State Historical Society, St. Paul; and that there has been on file in the
office of the County Auditor of Ramsey County, Minnesota, the affidavit of a person having knowledge
of the facts, showing the name and location of said newspaper and the existence of the conditions
constituting its qualifications as a legal newspaper.

is respectfully called to the following resolution, or ordinance which has been adopted by the
City Council and approved by the Mayor.

An ordinance amending Ordinance
No. 11061, entitled:
"An ordinance granting permission
and authority to the Village of Maple-
wood to connect the public sewer sys-
tem of said Village of Maplewood to
the public sewer system of the City of
Saint Paul and thereafter maintain
and operate the same as an outlet for
said public sewer system of said Village
for public sewage conveyance and dis-
posal purposes, and providing applic-
able terms and conditions,"
approved July 26, 1957, as amended.
This is an emergency ordinance ren-
dered necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul
Does Ordain:
SECTION 1
That Ordinance No. 11061, approved
July 26, 1957, as amended, be and the
same hereby is further amended in the
following particulars, to -wit: That the
first paragraph of Section 3 of said
ordinance shall be and hereby is
amended so that the same shall read
as follows:
"That said Village of Maplewood
shall not permit any connections to
be made to its said public sewer
system in respect to any property
lying beyond the limits of said Vil-
lage, and that no connection other
than that hereinabove expressly
permitted and authorized shall be
made between said Village public
sewer system and said City public
sewer system without further ex-
press authorization therefor by the
Council of the City of Saint Paul,
except that said Village of Maple-
wood may permit the temporary in-
stallation, maintenance, and operation
of a sewer service connection be-
tween its said public sewer system
and the following described real
property lying beyond its corporate
limits and situate in the City Of
Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, State
of Minnesota, to -wit:
East lz of Lots 14 through 16,
Block 2, Clarks 2nd Addition, City
of Saint Paul; identified as 396 East
Larpenteur Avenue, upon the ex-
press condition applicable to such
temporary sewer connection, that
the same shall be discontinued and
removed upon the construction by
or for the City of Saint Paul of a
public sanitary sewer abutting the
subject parcel of real estate, and
that thereupon the then owner of
the subject parcel of real estate
shall cause the same to be con-
nected by proper sanitary sewer
connection with such public sani-
tary sewer hereafter constructed
by or for the City of Saint Paul,
abutting the same."_
CTION 2
That this amendatory ordinance shall
be deemed dependent for its operative
effect upon the acceptance of the same
and the concurrence therein by said
Village of Maplewood, evidenced by
an ordinance passed by its Village
Council or governing body, and the
filing of a certified copy of the same
with the City Clerk not later than 60
days next after the official publication
of this amendatory ordinance.
SECTION 3
This ordinance is hereby declared to
be an emergency ordinance rendered
necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force upon its passage, approval
and publication.
