Section 304.010 of the Ma- plewood Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "304.010. PERMIT REQUIRED. Be- fore proceeding with the construction, en- largement, alteration, repairs, demoli- tion or moving of any building or struc- ture, or of any of the appurtenances of such building which are part of the real estate, the owner, the contractor, or the subcontractor, shall first obtain a permit for such purpose from the municipality through its building inspector. The per- mits, other than the original building) Permits, required hereunder and as here- inafter set forth, shall be procured by the licensee licensed or registered under Chapter 325 of this code." Section 2. Section 325.020 of the Ma- plewood Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "325.020. APPLICATION OF LI- CENSE. All licenses shall be obtained from the clerk of the municipality. Ap- plication for license shall be filed with the clerk on the forms furnished by the municipality. The fee for each license shall be $25.00 annually. Electricians, plumbers or other crafts, which are li- censed by the State of Minnesota and which the municipality is prohibited from licensing, who undertake to perform work and obtain permits within the Village of Maplewood, shall first register with the Village Clerk and shall provide pyoof of public liability insurance as required in Section 325.130 hereof. Such state - licensed contractors shall also provide any additional insurance or indemnity bond hereafter required by the Village Coun- cil by resolution to protect property of the Village when such work is being done in or upon any Village street, or other public right of way, or upon any of the Village -owned utilities located in such street or right of way." Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and Publication. Passed by the Council of the Village of Maplewood this 21st day of July, 1966. Paul A.
