HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo 175 Relating to All Licenses Issued by the Vilage of MaplewoodORDINANCE NO. 175 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ALL LICENSES ISSUED BY THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD. THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEW00D DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. All licenses issued by the Village of Maplewood under any ordinance of said Village, or by reason of any authority of law conferred other than by ordinance, shall confer the rights and privileges thereunder upon the applicant only and no such license shall be transferable. Whenever any licensee sells his business, the new owner shall re -apply in the same manner as he would for an original license application. In the case where the applicant or holder of a license is a corporation, the sale of controlling interest in the stock of the corporation shall be deemed to be a change of ownership for purposes of this ordinance. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. Passed by the Council of the Village of Maplewood this /-'j day ofl,�I e4i T 1963.
