No person shall repair, overhaul, dismantle or otherwise cio any mechanical or body work to or upon any motor vehicle within the units of the ''illage of Maplewood except in accordance with the terms and provisions of this ordinance. Section 2. A "motor vehicle", for the purposes of this ordinance is defined as any self-propelled vehicle operated by means of internal combustion or elentric;txl propulsion. Section 3. :`o person =1 repair, overhaul, dismantle or otherwise do any mechanical or body work to or upon any motor vehicle in a residential ,garage, home or ether building, or in the yard, in or upon ay�v premiaes located within an `-1, -2, or -; residence district within _faplewood, whether such work is performed free of ^har{-e or for ^ompensati.on. The application shall contain the name and address of the applicant, the location where the license is to be used andsuch other information as the Clerk may re. All persons licensed under this ordinance shall maintain records which will show the year, model, and registration number of every motor ve- hicle upon which any work is perform- ed by the licensee or his employees. Such records shall also disclose the nature, type or kind of work performed upon the vehicle. The licensee or employee in charge of any licensed premises to which is brought any motor vehicle showing ev- idence of having been involved in an accident or struck by any bullet shall re- port to the police of Maplewood forth- with, giving the motor number, license registration number and name and ad- dress of the owner or operator of such vehicle. Section 7. A motor vehicle repair li- cense shall not be issued by the Clerk unless the premises where the license if to be used is located within a distriel in Maplewood that is properly zoned foi such use Section S. Every licensee hereunder shall keep his premises in a neat, un- cluttered condition and shall not have, of Permit, the accumulation of any dis- mantled vehicles or parts of vehicles where such material will be exposed to public view. Section 9. At the time of obtaining a license, the licensee shall indicate the amount of off street parking space which he will have on his premises for park- ing motor vehicles belonging to others but which are in his possession for bus- iness reasons and the number of vehicles which he may have on the premises out- side of his building at any given time shall be limited to the parking area specified. The Village Council shall pro- mulgate rules and regulations for the purpose of administrating the parking !of vehicles so as to prevent congestion, unsightliness, or nuisance to the neigh_ boring property and to the general pub- lic. Section 10. Any person who is con- ' victed of any violation of this ordinance j shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be Punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or imprisonment in the County Jail or Workhouse for not more than ninety (90) days, or both. Each day that a vio- lation continues shall constitute a separ- ate violation and shall be subject to the maximum penalties set forth herein.. Section 11.
