HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo 107 Relating to Sanitary Sewers, Approving Ordinance No. 11744 of the City of St. Paul Amending St. Paul City Ordinance No. 11061 to Permit Certain Property within the Village of Mapelwood to Be Connected to the St. Paul Sanitary Sewer SystemORDINANCE NO. 107 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERS, APPROVING ORDINANCE No. 11744 OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL AMENDING SAINT PAUL CITY ORDINANCE NO. 11061 TO PERMIT CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD TO BE CONNECTED TO THE SAINT PAUL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM. THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 11744 of the City of Saint Paul, amending St. Paul ordinance No. 11061, is hereby approvedand the terms and provisions thereof are hereby accepted by the Council of the Village of Maplewood for and on behalf of the said Village of Maplewood. Section 2. That a copy of this ordinance, after publication, shall be forwarded to the Clerk of the City of Saint Paul. Section 3. I ordinance passed by its Village Council or governing body, and the filing of a certified copy of the same with the City Clerk not later than 60 days next after the official publication of this amendatory ordinance. /o-7 The Council of the City of Saint Paul Does Ordain: I SECTION 1 That Ordinance No. 11061, approved July 26, 1957, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to the first paragraph of Section 3 of said Ordinance, after the legal de- scriptions of certain properties to which sewer connections have heretofore been granted, the following: "And except that said Village of Maplewood may permit the installa- tion, maintenance and operation of sewer service connections between its said public sewer system and the fol- lowing described real property lying beyond its corporate limits and situ- ate in the Village of North St. Paul, County of Ramsey, State of Minne- sota, to -wit: Lots 10 through 17, Block 1, Gudim's Mecca Park; Lots 8 through 16, Block 2, Gudim's Mecca Park; ac- cording to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ram- sey County, Minnesota, solely for sanitary sewage drainage purposes and subject to all provisions, terms and conditions of this ordi- nance which are hereby made ap- plicable thereto, with the same intent, purpose, and effect as if such next above described real property were entirely situate within the corporate limits of said Village of Maplewood. That no connection other than that authorized under Section 1 of this or -t dinance directly between the public ! sewer system of said Village of Ma- plewood and the public sewer system I of said City shall be constructed,' maintained or operated without fur- ther express authorization therefor by the Council of said City. I SECTION 3 This ordinance is. hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. SECTION 4 This ordinance shall take effect and; be in force upon its passage, approvals and publication. Passed by the Council June 3, 1960.
