"AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING, AMPLIFYING AND RE-
VISING THE BUILDING CODE; CREATING AND CONTINU-
ING THE OFFICE OF BUILDING INSPECTOR; VALIDATING
ALL PERIJIITS ISSUED AND CONSTRUCTION AUTHORIZED
UNDER THE CODE HERETOFORE EXISTING AND REPEALING
RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF INCON-
SISTENT HEREWITH."
THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAPLEWOOD DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 4-1 of Ordinance #14 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
4-1 Permit fees for new building construction or additions
to existing structures shall be based upon the area of the structure
to be built. Buildings will be classified in accordance with their
height and the rate for the various heights shall differ where base-
ments are not constructed. Permit fees shall be in accordance with
�..1 the figures shown in the following table, except that the Council
may waive the fees in the case of non. -profit charitable corporations,
churches, and schools.
RESIDENTIAL ONLY
One Story Building
(A) Basementless
$1.50 per each 120 square feet of area
(3) With basement
$1.50 per each 110 square feet of area
One and One -Half Story Building
(A) Basementless
41.50 per each 110 square feet of area
(B) With basement
X1.50 per each 100 square feet of area
Two Story Building
(A) Basementless
X1.50 per each 100 square feet of area

mit fee.)
