HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo 32 Amending Ordinance No. 20 Entitled "An Ordinance Regulating and Controlling the Setting , Igniting or Starting of Fires within New Canada Township"ORDINANCE Y32 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1120 EN- TIT'LED, "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND CON- TROLLING THE SETTING, IGNITING OR START- ING OF FIRES WITHIN NEW CANADA TOWNSHIP." THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NEW CANADA ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 2, Paragraph a) of Ordinance j20 is hereby amended to read as follows: "a) Ordinary rubbish burning on residential property must be done in a burner which is so constructed as to prevent flying ashes or embers. Such burners shall be located on the owner's land so as not to constitute a menace or a nuisance to adjoining property owners. The burning of rubbish, trash or refuse in an incinerator (inside or outside), trash burner or bonfire is restricted to the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.Pvi. to 9:00 P.M. and no trash burner or incinerator of any kind or type shall be operated except during said hours. The burning of trash or the operation of an incinerator, whether such incinerator is outdoors or inside a building, during any hours other than those mentioned in this paragraph shall be considered a violation of this ordinance."
