AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT FOR RESIDENTIAL ALARM LICENSES
The Maplewood City Council approves the following revision to the Maplewood Code of
Ordinances.
Section4-36of the Maplewood Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows:
Sec.4-36.-Requiredforalarmbusiness,alarmsystem,proprietoralarmoraudible
alarm.
(a)Alicenseshallberequiredforeachalarmbusinessinthecity.
(b)Nopersonshallengagein,conduct,orcarryonanalarmbusinessinthecity
withoutfirstapplyingforandreceivingalicenseinaccordancewiththisarticle.
(c)Nopersonshallinstallanalarmsystemoruse,possess,orsubscribetoan
operativealarmsystem,proprietoralarm,orcontractalarmonanybuildingor
premisesinthecitywithoutfirstapplyingforandreceivingapermitinaccordance
withthisarticle.Feesforpermitswillbeasestablishedbythecitycounciland
shallbesetfromtimetotime.Ascheduleofsuchfeesisonfileandavailablein
thecityoffices.
