�-- AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING,
STANDING OR STOPPING OF MOTOR VEHICLES
WITHIN THE TOWN OF NEW CANADA.
THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NEW CANADA DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. No person shall stop, stand, or park a motor
vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traf-
fic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or
traffic control device, in any of the following places:
a) On a sidewalk;
b) In front of a public or private driveway;
c) Within an intersection;
d) Within ten (10) feet of a fire hydrant;
e) On a crosswalk;
f) Within thirty (30) feet upon the approach to any flashing
beacon, stop sign, or traffic control sign located at
the side of a roadway;
g) Within twenty (20) feet of the driveway adjacent to any
fire station or on the side of the street opposite the
entrance to any fire station within seventy-five (75)
feet of said entrance when properly signposted;
h) Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction
when such stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct
traffic;
i) On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at
the edge or curb of a street or road;
j) At any place where official signs prohibit stopping.
Sec. 2. No automobile or other vehicle shall occupy any road
or street so as to interfere with or interrupt the passage of other
cars or vehicles.
Sec. 3. No person shall leave a motor car or vehicle unattended
on any road or street with the engine running.
Sec. 4. Parking on bridge approaches or upon any boulevard,
lawn or grass plot is prohibited.
Sec. 5. No person shall park or leave his motor vehicle stand-
ing upon the private property of any person without first receiving

consent of the owner of such property.

Sec. 6. Parking of any vehicle upon any street or road for
more than thirty (30) minutes during the time intervening between
a snowfall and the plowing or removal of such snow is hereby pro-
hibited.
Sec. 7. Parking of any vehicle upon any street or road for
more than two (2) hours between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M.
is hereby prohibited.
Sec. 8. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and publication.

Standing or Stopping of Motor Vehicles
Within the Town of New Canada.
THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN
OF NEW CANADA DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. No person shall stop. stand,
or park a, motor vehicle, except when

been entirely made up of patents, plate matter and advertisements; has been circulated in and near its
said place of publication to the extent of at least two hundred and forty (240) copies regularly delivered
to paying subscribers and has entry as second class matter in its local post office; and that there has
been on file in the office of the County Auditor of Ramey County, Minnesota, the affidavit of a person
having knowledge of the facts, showing the name and location of said newspaper and the existence of
the conditions constituting its qualifications as a legal newspaper.

nance Regulating the Parking, Standing
or Stopping of Motor Vehicles Within the
Town of New Canada designated as Ordi-
nance No. 16 will hereinafter be entitled
Ordinance No. 19.
