THE TOWN BOARD OF THE T)WN OF NEW CANADA ORDAINS: Section 1. Said Ordinm ce # 14 entitled, "An Ordinance Establishing amplifying and Revising the Building Code; Creating and Continuing the Office of Building Inspector; Validating All Permits Issued and Construction Author- ized Under the Code Heretofore Existing and Repealing Resolutions, Ordinances or Parts Thereof Inconsistent Herewith'" is hereby amended by adding new language to Section 6-98 so that said Section 6-98 will read as f ollows: 16-98 The type, construction and location of wells shall be in accord- ance with. the recommendations of the Minnesota State Board of Health as out- lined in their bulletins, Small Water Supplies and Sewage Systems; provided, however, that oL all wells constructed for residences the well casing shall be located in a well pit and the well pit shall ad.join the basement wall and shall be accessible from the basement. No well casings shall be installed without a well pit." Said Ordinance 14 entitled, "An Ordinance Establishing, amplifying and Revising the Building Code; Creating and Continuing the Office of Building In- spector; Validating All Permits Issued and Construction Authorized Under the Code Heretofore Existing and Repealing Resolutions, Ordinances or Parts Thereof Inconsistent Herewith," is hereby amended by adding new language to Section 6-98 so that said Section 6-98 will read as follows: "6-98 The type, construction and loca- tion of wells shall be in accordance with the recommendations of the Minnesota State Board of Health as outlined in their bulletins, Small Water Supplies and Sewage Systems; provided, however, that on all wells constructed for residences the well casing shall be located in a well Pit and the well pit shall adjoin the basement wall and shall be accessible from the basement.
