MAPLEWOOD AREA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
May 12, 2014
Council Chambers, City Hall
A. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the City Council serving as the Economic Development Authority, (EDA),
was held in the City Hall Council Chambers and was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by EDA
Chair Koppen.
B. ROLL CALL
Marvin Koppen, Chair Present
Marylee Abrams, Member Absent
Robert Cardinal, Vice Chair Present
Kathleen Juenemann, Member Present
Nora Slawik, Member Present
C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Slawik moved to approve the agenda as submitted.
Seconded by Member Juenemann Ayes – All
The motion passed.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Approval of March 24, 2014 Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes
Member Juenemann moved to approve the March 24, 2014 Economic Development
Authority Meeting Minutes as submitted.
Seconded by Member Slawik Ayes – All
The motion passed.

G. NEW BUSINESS
1. Approval to Execute Contract for Real Estate Broker
May 12, 2014
Maplewood Area Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes 2
Assistant City Manager Coleman gave the staff report and answered questions of the
council. Member Cardinal gave additional information.
Member Juenemann moved to approve staff to execute a contract with Mike Brass to
represent the City for a term of one year in the sale of excess city property.
Seconded by Member Slawik Ayes – All
The motion passed.
H. ADJOURMENT
EDA Chair Koppen adjourned the meeting at 6:40 p.m.
