A. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the City Council was held in the City Hall Council Chambers and was called to order
at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Longrie.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Mayor Longrie moved to approve the agenda.
Seconded by Councilmember Cave.

PUBLIC HEARING
Truth in Taxation Hearing
a. Finance and Administration Manager, Bob Mittet gave the presentation and
answered questions of the council.
b. The council asked several questions of city staff.

Mayor Longrie opened the public hearing.
1. Jerry Markie, 1248 Leland Road, Maplewood, spoke regarding the property taxes in
Maplewood and for Ramsey County over the years.
2. Melvin J., 450 McKnight Road South Maplewood, spoke regarding Dial -a -Ride and
N.E.S.T.
3. Bob Erickson, 47 Kingston Avenue Maplewood, spoke regarding property taxes in
Maplewood and what is happening with the economy.
Mayor Longrie closed the public hearing.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Longrie moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:20 p.m.
