CDRB Meeting Postponement for July 26, 2011

Meeting Postponement
The July 26, 2011, community design review board (CDRB) meeting has been postponed until
August 16, 2011 at 6 p.m. Dan Regan has submitted an application for a medical office building
to be built on vacant land on Beam Avenue, east of White Bear Avenue next to the Walgreens.
This proposed medical building is a potential future home for a Veterans Affairs Medical Clinic.
As such, Mr. Regan has certain deadlines he would need to meet in order to build this building.
The original intent was to review this proposal at the July 26, 2011 CDRB meeting but staff did
not receive plans in time to allow for a thorough review. Staff has scheduled a meeting for
August 16, 2011 in order to help Mr. Regan meet his deadline needs and for the city to conduct
its review.
Staff is also anticipating applications for additional design review items which are tentatively
scheduled to be reviewed by the CDRB on August 23, 2011.
