Color copies will be available at our upcoming commission meeting. The map does not have a legend so notes are provided in this memo. The map shows county and city parks and open space in south Maplewood. In addition, it shows Minnesota Land Cover Classification System (MLCCS) natural communities (pink cross hatch) and their numeric codes. This differs from the MLCCS map in your orientation packet because it shows only native plant communities (oak woodland, maple-basswood forest, etc.) and does not include altered communities. This should prove helpful in understanding the pattern of remaining native communities in this area and in discussing protection priorities. Attachment: 1. Map of south Maplewood
