CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the City Council of Maplewood, Minnesota was held in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, and was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Cardinal. B. ROLL CALL C. D. Robert Cardinal, Mayor Present Sherry Allenspach, Councilmember Present Kenneth V. Collins, Councilmember Present Marvin C. Koppen, Councilmember Present Julie A. Wasiluk, Councilmember Present APPROVAL OF AGENDA Councilmember Koppen moved to approve the Agenda as submitted. Seconded by Councilmember Wasiluk Ayes -all CONSENT AGENDA Councilmember Koppen moved to approve a Personal Service License for Teresa Severson to be used at Salon Nostalgia. 1690 North McKnight Road. Owner, Bob Moore, 116 West Douglas Street, South Saint Paul was present to introduce himself the Council. Seconded by Councilmember Wasiluk Ayes -all E. NEW BUSINESS 1. Attorney Client Privilege -Notice of Claim Against the City Mayor Cardinal allowed Bob Zick, 1880 East Shore Drive, to address the council regarding the issue before the meeting was closed. Mayor Cardinal moved to go into closed session to discuss notice of claim against the citX Seconded by Councilmember Allenspach Ayes -all Discussion was held regarding the notice of claim against the city. Council was informed that the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) will be representing the city. City Manager Fursman will initiate contact with the LMC attorney for further information and will keep council informed. Councilmember Koppen moved to adjourn the closed session. Seconded by Councilmember Allenspach Ayes -all F. ADJOURNMENT Councilmember Koppen moved to adjourn the closed session at 5:52 p.m. Seconded by Councilmember Allenspach Ayes -all
