1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Lates called a meeting of the Environmental and Natural Resources
Commission to order at 6:00 p.m.

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Chair Lates moved to approve the agenda.

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. May 19, 2025
Chair Lates moved to approve the May 19, 2025, Environmental and Natural
Resources Commission meeting minutes as written.
Seconded by Commissioner Saunders-Pearce. Ayes – Commissioners

5. NEW BUSINESS
a. Energy Smart and BizRecycling Presentations
Sustainability Coordinator Finwall introduced the subject.
Alex Christianson, Energy Smart Program Manager and Andrew Hilger, Waste
Wise Program Manager presented details on the Energy Smart and BizRecycling
Program.
The Environmental and Natural Resources Commission thanked the presenters
for the detail on the programs. The Commission will promote these programs as
part of their outreach efforts to help businesses with their energy and solid waste
reduction goals.
b. Resolution of Appreciation for Nancy Edwards
Chair Lates moved to approve the resolution of appreciation for Nancy Edwards.
Seconded by Commissioner Bryan. Ayes – Commissioners
