Monday, August 25, 2025 City Hall, Council Chambers CONCURRENT MEETING WITH THE MAPLEWOOD CITY COUNCIL MANAGER WORKSHOP A. CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the Maplewood Economic Development Authority (EDA) was held in the City Hall Council Chambers and was called to order at 6:01 p.m. by President Abrams. B. ROLL CALL Marylee Abrams, President Present Rebecca Cave, Vice President Present Kathleen Juenemann, Commissioner Present Chonburi Lee, Commissioner Present Nikki Villavicencio, Commissioner Present C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Commissioner Lee moved to approve the agenda as submitted. Seconded by Commissioner Juenemann Ayes – All The motion passed. D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. July 28, 2025, Economic Development Authority Special Meeting Minutes Commissioner Cave moved to approve the July 28, 2025 Economic Development Authority Special Meeting Minutes as submitted. Seconded by Commissioner Juenemann Ayes – All The motion passed. E. PUBLIC HEARING None F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. Economic Development Strategy Assistant Executive Director Parr introduced the agenda item. Breanne Kennedy, Thrive Consultant, gave the presentation. Commissioner provided additional comments. August 25, 2025 Maplewood Economic Development Authority Special Meeting Minutes 1 Commissioner Lee moved to approve the Maplewood Economic Development Strategy. Seconded by Commissioner Cave Ayes – All The motion passed. 2. EDA Budget Discussion Assistant Treasurer Rueb gave the presentation and presented various budget scenarios. Assistant Executive Director Parr and Executive Director Sable provided additional information. EDA Commissioners asked questions and shared their opinions on the budget options. No action required.
