Call to Order B. Roll Call Commissioners: Debra Birkholz, Chair, present Jim Meehan, Secretary, present Lisa Liddell, Commissioner, present Others: Terrie Rameaux, Staff Liaison, present Paul Schnell, Police Chief, present C. Approval of Agenda Commissioner Liddell motioned to approve the agenda. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. D. Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Liddell motioned to approve the Meeting Minutes for October 28, 2016. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. E. New Business 1. Review and Approve Background Investigations for Police Officer Candidates and Certify Names for Vacancy Ms. Rameaux and Chief Schnell addressed the Commission and answered questions. Commissioner Meehan motioned to reject the background of Candidates 2 and 3. Chair Liddell seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. Commissioner Meehan motioned to approve the background of Candidates 1, 4 and 5. Commissioner Liddell seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. Commissioner Liddell motioned to certify Candidates 1, 4 and 5. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 2. Discussion on Use of Personnel Evaluation Profile (PEP) Tool in Current and Future Hiring Processes Ms. Rameaux and Chief Schnell addressed the Commission and answered questions. 3. Discussion on Pathways to Public Service Program for Recruitment of Non-traditional Law Enforcement Career Candidates Ms. Rameaux and Chief Schnell addressed the Commission and answered questions. 4. Discussion on Possible Lateral Transfer Recruitment for Future Hiring Processes Ms. Rameaux and Chief Schnell addressed the Commission and answered questions. F. Unfinished Business G.
