Roll Call Commissioners: Debra Birkholz, Chair, absent Jim Meehan, Secretary, present Lisa Liddell, Commissioner, present Others: Terrie Rameaux, Staff Liaison, present Chuck Bethel, City Attorney, present Paul Schnell, Police Chief, present 3. Approval of Agenda Commissioner Meehan motioned to approve the agenda. Commissioner Liddell seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 4. Rotation of Chair and Secretary Commissioner Liddell motioned to elect Jim Meehan as the chair of the commission. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. Commissioner Meehan motioned to elect Lisa Liddell as the secretary of the commission. Commissioner Liddell seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 5. Approval of Minutes: a. December 5, 2013 Commissioner Meehan motioned to approve the Meeting Minutes for December 5, 2013. Commissioner Liddell seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 6. New Business a. Administrative Reorganization of Police Department 1.) Review and Approve Proposed Reorganization Chief Schnell addressed the commission and went over the report and answered questions. Commissioner Liddell motioned to approve the proposed reorganization. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 2.) Review and Approve Job Description and Posting for Commander Ms. Rameaux addressed the commission and went over the report and answered questions. Commissioner Liddell motioned to approve the job description for the commander position. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. Commissioner Liddell motioned to approve the posting for the commander position. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 3.) Approve Reclassification of Deputy Chief Ms. Rameaux and Chief Schnell addressed the commission and went over the report and answered questions. Commissioner Liddell motioned to approve the reclassification of the Deputy Chief to Divisional Commander pending the city planned market study. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 7. Unfinished Business Chief Schnell addressed the commission with an update on new hires and current staffing levels. 8. Visitor Presentations 9.
