Call to Order Chair Birkholz called the meeting to order. 2. Roll Call Commissioners: Debra Birkholz, Chair, present Jim Meehan, Secretary, present Lisa Liddell, Commissioner, absent Others: Terrie Rameaux, Staff Liaison, present Alan Kantrud, City Attorney, absent James Antonen, City Manager, present 3. Approval of Agenda Commissioner Meehan motioned to approve the agenda. Chair Birkholz seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 4. Approval of Minutes a. February 4, 2013 Chair Birkholz motioned to approve the meeting minutes for the February 4, 2013. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 5. New Business a. City Manager Request to Post Police Chief Vacancy as Open Competitive—Inside and Outside Candidates City Manager Antonen addressed the commission and discussed the reasoning for seeking internal and external applicants for this recruitment process. Chair Birkholz motioned to post the Police Chief Vacancy as Open Competitive. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed. 6. Unfinished Business 7. Visitor Presentations 8. Commission Presentations 9. Staff Presentations Ms. Rameaux addressed the commission and discussed the process of recruiting open- competitive and went over an estimated timeline. 10. Adjourn Chair Birkholz moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:16am. Commissioner Meehan seconded. Ayes: All The motion passed.
