Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes
A. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission was held remotely via Zoom and
called to order by Chairperson Molstad at 6:02 p.m.

C. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Commissioner Villavicencio made a motion to approve the agenda.
Seconded by Commissioner Brannon Ayes – All
The motion passed.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. May 20, 2020
Commissioner Brannon made a motion to approve the Ma y 20, 2020 Parks and
Recreation Commission minutes.
Seconded by Commissioner Porter Ayes – All
E. NEW BUSINESS
1. Appoint Commission Member and Alternate to the Parks and Recreation
Programming Task Force

Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes
Chair Molstad made a motion to approve appointing herself to the Parks and
Recreation Task Force.
Seconded by Commissioner Villavicencio Ayes – All
The motion passed.
Commissioner Villavicencio made a motion to approve appointing herself as an
alternate to the Parks and Recreation Task Force.
Seconded by Chair Molstad Ayes – All
The motion passed.
2. Natural Resources Update
Emily Dunlap, Natural Resources Coordinator, gave an update on natural areas,
parks and open spaces in the City of Maplewood and natural resources projects
that have taken place in 2020.

Audra Robbins, Parks and Recreation Manager, gave an update on summer
recreation programming.

The motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
