A. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Commission was held and called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Arbuckle.

Staff Present: Michael Martin, Assistant Community Development Director
C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Commissioner Desai moved to approve the agenda as submitted.
Seconded by Commissioner Dahm. Ayes – All
The motion passed.
D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Desai moved to approve the September 15, 2020, PC minutes as submitted.
Seconded by Commissioner Dahm. Ayes – All
The motion passed.
E. PUBLIC HEARING
1. 7:00 p.m. or later: Conditional Use Permit and Home Occupation License Resolution,
Home-Based Lawn Care Business with Storage of Commercial Vehicles, 821 Bartelmy
Lane North
a. Conditional Use Permit Resolution
b. Home Occupation License Resolution
Chairperson Arbuckle opened the public hearing.
Ted Miller-827 Bartelmy, Scott Evenson-815 Bartelmy, Chris Hirdler and Jeremy Hirdler, the
applicants spoke.

Chairperson Arbuckle closed the public hearing.
Commissioner Desai moved to approve a resolution for a Conditional Use Permit and a Home
Occupation License for a Home-Based Lawn Care Business with Storage of Commercial
Vehicles at 821 Bartelmy Lane North and the requestor needs to comply with all the conditions
that the City of Maplewood has put into play.
Seconded by Commissioner Ige. Ayes – Arbuckle
Nays – Dahm, Desai, Eads, Ige, Yang
The motion did not pass.
This item will go to the city council on November 9, 2020.
2. 7:00 p.m. or later: Conditional Use Permit and Setback Variance Resolution,
Maplewood Toyota Vehicle Storage Lot, 2999 Highway 61
a. Conditional Use Permit Resolution.
b. Setback Variance Resolution
Chairperson Arbuckle opened the public hearing.
Steve McDaniels, the applicant spoke.
Chairperson Arbuckle closed the public hearing.
Commissioner Dahm moved to approve the Conditional Use Permit and Setback Variance
Resolution.
Seconded by Commissioner Ige. Ayes – All
The motion passed.
This item will go to the city council on November 9, 2020.

1. Proposed North End Zoning District
Jeff Miller, HKgi, led a discussion regarding the proposed North End Zoning District Ordinance.
