MAPLEWOOD HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMISSION

1. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Heritage Preservation Commission was held in the City Hall Council
Chambers and called to order by Vice Chair Currie at 7:00p.m.
2. ROLL CALL

3. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Commissioner Currie added Agenda Item 5c. Gladstone Redevelopment Meeting and
Agenda Item 6b. Parkside Fire Station.
Natural Resources Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, added Agenda Item 10e. Elections for
Chair and Vice Chair in May.
Chair Boulay moved to approve the agenda as amended.
Seconded by Commissioner Gilbertson Ayes – All
The motion passed.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. February 13, 2014 HPC Meeting
Commissioner Currie moved to approve the February 13, 2014 minutes.

a. Gladstone Phase II Improvements
Kimberly Horn Landscape Architect, Todd H. presented an overview on
Gladstone Phase II. Commissioners asked questions and provided input on the
Gladstone Phase II Improvements.

Commissioner Currie presented a summary of the Gladstone Redevelopment
Meeting.

iii. Update on Progress
b. Parkside Frustration
Commissioner Currie requested staff to investigate whether there are any
restrictions on the fire station being sold.

Bob Jensen updated the commission on the upcoming events that the Maplewood Area
Historical Society will be offering.
