" This class is boring . " These rules are dumb . " These are just some of the quotes I hear about school from kids in the hall . It is known that a lot of kids dislike school . But there are kids like me who like school . I like school because it gives me the necessities that I need for a job . I learn very important things like math and English . I also like less academic classes such as shop . My favorite class is science with Mr . Peters . In his class we learn about gravity and Newton ' s laws . We have talked about the reasons why we should wear our seat belts . In- formation like this will stick with me throughout my life . In school I make many new friends . I think that kids in a school are like clothes in a store . They both have a good variety to choose from. When you walk into a clothes store you can get clothes of different colors , brands , and sizes . When you walk into a school you have kids of different races , nationalities , and ages to choose from . Just like you do not like all clothes , you might not like all kids . Although you can throw out unwanted clothes you can not throw out the kids . You have to learn to get along with them. The adult world is like school in this way; everyone must make an effort to get along with others . On the whole I would say that a school is : a peaceful environment which teaches future leaders to determine a hawk from a handsaw. fie Lama S ltn n J0 \r; (I;!Prr, Article 26 states that every child has the right to go to school for the fundamentals of education . To me , that means I have the right to learn math , to learn how to write , learn to read , learn about my religion , learn how to get along and work with others and learn about history and life today so I can become the best person I can be . I feel it is important for me to learn the fundamentals and work hard in grade school and high school so that when I do reach college and I don 't have enough money for the college I need to go to for my career choice , I may be able to get a scholarship . Education should teach me to be proud of my accomplishments and how to learn from my mistakes . All children , no matter what race they are , what religion they belong to , or what their physical appearance is , should be treated equally and receive the same fundamentals of education and the same opportunities for education . All children of all nations should be taught to keep an open mind and an open heart toward other nations . Every nation has it5 own customs , beliefs , advantages , and problems . Only by listening and learning from each other , can we then understand and help each other to keep peace between nations . My parents and I have the right to choose the school I attend , which is St . Peters . My parents need to know what I am learning in school so that all of my abilities are developed and used , and I am getting the best education possible in all of the fundamentals . r,f7; How article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights affects me. " I feel that education should be free to all . Yet the colleges feel that people should pay outrageous fees to go there. Do you kndw how much you could raise the educational level of the world if you and everybody else had equal oppurtunity to get into a college? You look at the population of the U.S. , there are people in those areas that could be accepted to the best colleges. but they dont have the money for the fees to pay for it . Article 26 says,"It shall promote understanding , tolerance. and friendship among all nations." Look: at the wars going on ! There were news people in China who were beat up for taking pictures at the square after the massacre. Do you call this peace and understanding-` Section three states Parents have the right to choose the type of education for their child or children ." I feel that this right be invoked on the child beacause I know some kids who would rather go to a public school than go to a private school like Sc . Peters of Presentation. For the rest of the of the writing I 'll say what I feel overall . I feel that the federal government in the U.S. has been rather hasty with the school budget . Why don't we cut back on the defense initiative. Our international relations are good enough that we won't have to build any more nuclear warheads or B-2 stealth Bombers. I 've spoken what I feel about Article 26 Thank You for reading .
