Show respect during comments and/or discussions, listen actively and do not interrupt or talk amongst each other. Be respectful of the process, keeping order and decorum. Do not be critical of council members, staff or others in public. Be respectful of each other’s time keeping remarks brief, to thepoint and non-repetitive. In 2017, the Building Division completed nearly 4,500 inspections and reviewed and approved nearly 600 building construction plans. Reviews are coordinated with planning and engineering staff and permits physically issued by EEDD administrative staffGreen Building Code Operational Effectiveness) This division includes a Building Official, two Building Inspectors and a Seasonal InternHave issued more than 2,500 permits in 2017, generating more than $1.3 million in revenueDivision active in working to shape future state building code updates and improvements80% of commercial plans and permits reviewed and ready for issuance within 30 days or less ( Building Inspections Workshop Packet Page Number 10 of 26 E1, Attachment 1 Phase Two of Frost English Village Earlier this fall construction began on Phase Two of Frost English Village.This project is a partnership dating back to 2013, securing more than $2,000,000 in grant dollars for the development and public improvement projects. The City has also invested TIF dollars into this project.
