Phone: 464-7055 Representative: Harold Barker 422-8025 Phone: 924-4563 The Charging Party's dispute with the Respondent is outlined below. This matter appears to come within the statutory authority of the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, but the department has taken no position on the merits of the complaint. Mr. Urhammer believes that his work was unfairly evaluated and unreasonable standards were set for him in an effort to force him to resign or to justify his demotion, and that the motive for this treatment is his age. If the dispute is not resolved through the ADR process, the department may later take a charge if the Charging Party wishes to pursue the matter. A charge can be accepted WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE PRACTICE WHICH IS ALLEGED TO BE DISCRIMINATORY. The department will not take any further action unless the Charging Party requests that a charge be filed.
