Tuesday, June 3, 1986, Maplewood Fublic Works Building
Chairman Rostron called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
PRESENT: Rostron, Eiden, Kwapick, Sr. Claire
Minutes of Y ---y 6, 1986 meeting approved as sent. Kwapick had not received
copies of the April and May minutes.
The FACER presentations at Weaver and Carver Elementary Schools were well
received by the students.
The League exhibit "The Mentally Retarded, Our Neglected Minority" is set
for showing at the Maplewood Mall on June 22 to 28. The insurance has been
taken care of, and Kwapick and Hoyt will work with Williamson on the transport-
ing of the exhibit. Rostron will publicize it in the Ramsey County and IYtaple-
wood Reviews.
NFG:
Kwapick has been unable to contact the grievant in the housing case, and due
to the time interval, case will be considered closed.
A request will be made to the State Department of Human Rights to have the NFG
training made available to the local commission members who are not certified.
There will be no meetings scheduled for July and August. "Text meeting will be
September 2, 1986.
Meeting adjourned 7:35 p.m.
