The cities of Maplewood, Roseville and St. Paul are workingtogetherto create a new
vision and plan forthe Rice Street-LarpenteurAvenue intersection.
The three cities come together at the busy intersection.
"It's an important gateway to al� communities and we wanted to make sure the
businesses and the residents feel safe and want to be there," Roseville Community
Development Director Kari Collins said. "It's not as though the corridor will be
overturned and look completely different. What we're hoping is to draw on the
strengths of the corridor and improve the areas that we can:'

This Wednesday and next (June 21) there will be ��rroim�uinir��r �nr�irlkslhc��.�.s ta� �rir��rii�'�

The first meeting will primarily cover potential changes residents would like to see,
perceptions people have of the corridor and the comprehensive plan. The second will
focus more on specifics, design, and urban design elements. Both meetings wil� be
very interactive, according to Collins.
The workshops will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria of Washington Technology
Magnet School, 1495 Rice St. in St. Paul.
