' The City of St, PauI has six Youth Service Bureaus, each serving a specific area of Ehe ci Ly, I{hite Bear Lake has a Youth Resource Bureau w}t-ich serves that school disErict and is beeoning naEionaLly recognized. . Roseville has had a program for two years, the Roseville YouLh DeveLoPmenE P roj e cE. 6. The services available to youEh in this district outside of school- are recrea- tion and churclt programs. There is ona Police l,iaisonOfficer for the district schools- There are cotrtseLors in the schools; horvaver, tJ:r e irverage caseload for each counselor is 350-400 s;udents. There is no back up resource for these counsel-ors \rhcn Ehey feel ad.dit.ional counseling or fanily counseling is necessary. CONCEPT OF YOUTII RESOURCE }UREAU P t]I1POS E The purpose of the youth Resource Bureau is to pl-ovide services Lo all young people in the connunity, delinquent and nondelinquent., and to coordinate GOALS II.ID OBJEC TIVES 1.
