At thatpoint corporation can be formed, If UAC receives Council approvai, HUD has assured top pri ori ty. l'4otion Recommendation: 'tthat the City Council approve the following f o r Ma p'le,.rood E as t: MHRC having considered the proposal and hav'ing consulted with the proponents of the proposal and evaluated the criteria which they submitted are of the opinion that their proposal substan- tially conforms with the criteria established by the Commission; thereiore, they respect'ly recomnend to the vil lage Council thaI the proposal receive favorable consideration subject to the f ol'lowi ng provi s ions: t\ -more- a Mapl ewood E Page 4 Meeting 6/20/72 Much heated discussion on the need to prove the UFA's ability tofuncti on as competent devel opers and corporate managers (both i nthe past and in the present). AIso, need for spelling out oftheir "recreational " site plans and the fact of an absolute mustfor transit service to that area.
