i ne council says in its letter
that most of the city's equipment
(about $1 million worth) is cur-
rently stored outside, exposing it
to repeated vandalism and ad-
verse weather conditions.
"These are costing you measur-

service. A one-time capital im-

the high operational expense,"the
council said.

trails for hiking and biking," the
council said.

meet many of our present parks
needs as well as those of future
generations. We ask your support
in developing the quality of life
we know you and your family
deserve,"the council said. ,
Bonnie Qualley, a parks coinI
missioner for three years, said
