MINNEAPOLIS(WCCO)—Maplewood police are asking for the public's
help after a man wearing a highly-visible traffic vest robbed a bank last
week.
• According to police,on Aug. 15 at around 2:30 p.m.,a TCF Bank
branch located within a CUB Foods grocery store–located at 2390 White
Bear Avenue–was robbed.
Police say the male suspect showed the teller a demand note and then
fled with an unspecified amount of money- .
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s or 40s,5-foot-10 to 6-feet-
tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds.The traffic vest has been recovered.
Police say the suspect may have fled the scene in a 2000s model
Chrysler minivan that was tan or gold-colored with an unknown plate
number.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Maplewood
police at 651-249-2600 or 911.
