in finding Cub Foods bank robber
The holdup occurred Aug. 15 at a TCF branch in a store on White
Bear Avenue.

A man robbed a TCF Bank inside a Maplewood Cub Foods store earlier this month, and
Maplewood police have been unable to find him. They are hoping the public can help.
The robber was wearing a bright yellow neon traffic vest when he handed a teller a note
demanding money at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the TCF branch located inside the store at
2390 White Bear Av., police said.

At some point during the getaway, he ditched the vest, which police have recovered. But
they have yet to find the man.
Witnesses described the robber as a 30- to 40 -year-old black male between 5 feet 10
inches and 6 feet and 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing the traffic vest, a black
sweatshirt, bluejeans and a black baseball cap, according to surveillance photos released
Thursday.
