Maplewood bank robbed, and police need your help ID'ing

Maplewood police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery.
On Aug. 15 at 2:30 p.m., the suspect robbed a TCF Bank branch in a Cub Foods grocery at 2390 White Bear
Ave. in Maplewood.

The suspect gave the bank teller a demand note and fled with an unspecified amount of money.
Maplewood investigators describe the suspect as a black man between 30 and 40 years old. He stands 5 -foot -
10 to 6 feet tall and weighs about 160 to 180 pounds. A high -visibility traffic vest worn by the suspect during the

robbery was later recovered.
Authorities say the suspect may have left the scene in a 2000s -model tan or gold -colored Chrysler minivan.
Anyone with information is asked to call Maplewood police at 651-249-2600 or 911.
Information on the case can also be sent anonymously by texting the word MAPLEWOOD followed by the tip or
identification information to 847411 (Tip411).
