Maple ood voters will get their chance the future as the city desires,Manager

but wound up instead with the referendum
bill.
If approved the referendum would be
retroactive to taxes levied in 1975 and
collectible in 1976.The"one shot"$189,000
would also apply to future years as the
city sees fit.
VOTER REGISTRATION for the
election, for all unregistered citizens,
must take place 20 days before the
election. The law does provide for
registration on the day of the election.
Maplewood City Hall will be open for
registration from 8 a.m.to 9 p.m.,Friday,
May 7, Monday, May 10 and Tuesday,
May 11.
In addition the City Hall will be open
from 10 a.m.until 4 p.m.Saturday,May 6
for voter registration.
