Sgt. Zappa named
'Officer of Year'
Sgt.Joe Zappa of the Maplewood Police
Department was recently named"Officer
of the Year"by members of Nazareth
Council of the Knights of Columbus No.
4021.
He was selected for the honor from a
field of police officers from New Brighton,
Roseville,Mounds View,Maplewood and
the Ramsey County Sheriff's Depart-
ment.
Zappa was nominated for the honor by
Maplewood Police Chief Richard Schaller
and Deputy Chief Tom Hagen.
